How My Abstract Art Inspires Logo & Tattoo Design

Creativity rarely stays in one lane, and for me, abstract art has always been the foundation that branches into many different forms. While my website focuses primarily on geometric abstract paintings and celestial‑inspired artwork, another side of my creative world continues to grow quietly in the background: logo design and tattoo concepts. These pieces are not part of my main portfolio, but they are deeply connected to the same themes that shape my paintings: symbolism, geometry, intuition, and the cosmos.

In this blog post, I want to share how these creative experiments came to life, why they matter to me, and how they reflect the same artistic language that runs through my abstract work.

The Bridge Between Abstract Art and Design

My abstract art is rooted in geometry, energy, and celestial influence. I’ve always been drawn to patterns, symmetry, and the quiet architecture of the universe, the way shapes, lines, and colours can express emotion without needing a literal subject. When I design logos or tattoo concepts, I’m tapping into the same visual vocabulary, just in a different format.

Logos require clarity, intention, and symbolism. Tattoos require meaning, balance, and personal resonance. Abstract art requires intuition, structure, and emotional depth. All three share a common thread: they communicate something without needing words.

For me, design is simply another way of exploring the same ideas that inspire my paintings. It’s a different medium, but the creative energy comes from the same place.

Logo Design: Symbolism in Simplicity

When I design logos, I approach them the same way I approach a painting: I start with meaning. Every shape, line, and curve has a purpose. I think about what the symbol represents, how it feels, and what story it tells.

Many of my logos incorporate:

  • geometric shapes

  • celestial motifs

  • symbolic elements

  • minimal linework

  • layered meaning

I love creating designs that feel modern and clean but still carry emotional or spiritual depth. Even the simplest logo can hold a universe of meaning if the symbolism is intentional.

These designs often begin as small sketches, circles, triangles, arrows, or intersecting lines, and evolve into polished digital concepts. They’re quiet, intentional, and deeply connected to the same cosmic themes that guide my abstract art.

Tattoo Concepts: Art That Lives on Skin

Tattoo design is one of the most personal forms of art. Unlike a painting that hangs on a wall, a tattoo becomes part of someone’s identity. When I create tattoo concepts, I think about the story behind the symbol, the emotional weight it carries, and how it will look on the body.

My tattoo designs often include:

  • spiritual symbolism

  • geometric alignment

  • cosmic themes

  • protective motifs

  • personal meaning woven into the shapes

One of my favourite pieces I’ve ever designed was a cohesive arrow tattoo that combined multiple symbols into one unified form: spiritual growth, emotional balance, protection, creation, Christianity, and continuity. It was a perfect example of how geometry can hold layers of meaning without needing any text.

Tattoo design allows me to explore the intersection of art and identity. It’s abstract art with a purpose, art that becomes part of someone’s story.

Why These Experiments Matter

Even though my website focuses on abstract art, these design projects are an important part of my creative evolution. They show my versatility, my curiosity, and my ability to translate cosmic themes into different mediums.

They also remind me that creativity doesn’t have to be boxed in. I can paint, design logos, sketch tattoo concepts, write, colour, and explore new ideas, all without needing to choose just one path.

These experiments keep my artistic world alive and expanding. They challenge me, inspire me, and help me grow.

Bringing It All Together

I chose to share these designs here on my blog rather than in my main portfolio because they represent a different branch of my creativity. They’re connected to my abstract art, but they’re not the core of my brand. Instead, they live here, in a space where I can explore freely, share openly, and show the full spectrum of my artistic identity.

If you’re curious to see some of these logo and tattoo concepts, I’ve included a few images below. Each one carries its own story, its own symbolism, and its own connection to the cosmos.

Creativity is a constellation, and these designs are just more stars in mine.
